Six Flags 2013

We went to our Balfour Beatty sponsored Six Flags night last night...

First up... the carousel!

and Jodi, Zach, Cooper, Melissa and Hudson were able to join us!

The boys were boys... climbing, jumping, running...

goofballs!

and I was... well... happy to be flying through the air

(and I'll have you know I was hurled on right after that picture...but it didn't stop me!)

It was time to head home and man...we had a great night!

My boys and I had a great day...

 

Thankful for a great hubby

 

 

and a very sweet little man...

I said to Holt "man, I can't believe we didn't even see ONE snake"...

30 SECONDS later... BOOM!  SAMMY!

5 minutes later is when Sammy met Sally.  LOL

then I woke up T and he was amazed. I told him how Grandpa used to bring me to my gardener snake every weekend. It would just be hanging out in a little bush and I would play with her and put her back.  Sure enough next weekend.... she was there.

I told him we needed to put these back and maybe they would come back if we were kind to them...

then we found rolly pollies and snails... (and one slug - bleck, I draw the line there!)

and T was enamored...

 

 

 

 

 

 

but then we knew it was time to free them.  We are VERY careful with God's creatures.  We are blessed to see them and hold them... but then it's time to let them go home for dinner.

 so after we freed Sammy and Sally... we started helping Daddy make a new walkway. 

Pulled weeds... had a blast and then GLADLY sat in the hot tub!! Great weekend, great family Sunday!!!  love my Holtie and my Nugg.

Aaron Jaggers comes for a sleepover

 
 
Aaron came to spend the night... and we shipped As and Simba off to Bebah and Grandpa's because Aaron is VERY scared of dogs.

Jody and Coop came over and Molly came too...

after about 15 minutes

Aaron was no longer afraid!

we hit McDonald's...

and played outside for hours

raced Transformers down the slide

and raced humans UP the playhouse

ate a great dinner

had sweet moments

and dressed up like Super Heroes!

acted sweet

and silly

and then hit the hot tub

and showed our big muscles

shared our toys

and our goggles

THEN big news.. Aaron held Butterscotch!

Holtie has been a good sport all weekend

 

doing anything the boys want...

even letting rodents on the couch!

 

I made pancakes with M&M's and sprinkles....

we had yogurt

and B had some carrots!

had a FEW technology moments

but not many....

because we were busy

so THEY could have a great 10th Anniversary!!

 

I have a great boss and I adore his wife Cristina.

and I've gotta say... this little guy sure is a cutie too!
