Lake fun... again and again and again...

Lake weekends produce some very happy kids

and some seriously insane parents

and a ton of memories repeated over and over and over...

then you toss in a few new ones

and kids surprise themselves (go Gracie!!)

and we fuel up...

because even watching this takes ENERGY

and we feed them sugar so it's our own fault.

finally... lake weekends produce this

and we wouldn't change it for anything.

Construction has its perks!

I got to walk the Parkland Hospital jobsite.  AMAZING!!

I just wanted you to see that my job CAN be cool

Plus, it helps me to come home and help you and Daddy build THIS!!

Cheeeetah

Last night, T wanted to make something.  He told me he was a cheetah a few minutes after that.

A huge box came from Woot...

Brain kicked in and BAM!  We made a cave for my little cheetah.

We painted it...

and I added green streamers (like grass hiding the cave) and the packing paper was the rocks around the entrance (work with me)

our artwork

he played in it for a long time... he loves it... and it reminded me of all the times my dad and I did this.  We made offices and I used to have them at his office and people would come and "buy" stuff from me.  Then we would drink warm rootbeer (not a fan of ice) with twizzlers.  Good times... good times.

Day with his best bud... Grayson May

T talked about his day for DAYS.

Grace was doing a back-to-school fun event and I couldn't take him.  Tracy May called and said she would come and get him!  He was BESIDE himself that he got to with Grayson and G was beside himself that he got a day with T because his brother and sister were going to Mother's Day out.

Goofballs!

T had a few accidents on the jumps so Tracy decided to bring the boys back to her house to eat.

Good choice because then we got these awesome pictures!!!

this is my favorite and belongs on a card!!

The night before T went... I said "Are you excited to see Grayson?"  He said: "Yes, but I want to see Ms. Tracy.  Her is pretty like a butterfly"

Insert *first crush*

Then Ms. Tracy dropped T off and G got to stay too and hang out our house.  Rockstar Bebah kept the boys and then kept T entertained until we got home from work.

Thankful for friends and relatives that give him a great summer of awesome experiences!!!

Day off with Mommy

I took Monday off to recoup and spend with T.  The moment that 300 opened... we went!

We shot stuff (not people... not allowed)

and we rode and played air hockey and laughed and rode a "rollercoaster"

then, he handed me my butt in bowling.  So what if he had bumpers... he still won!

Man I love this kid and realized I needed a day with my boy.  Great use of a day off!!

While Mommy's away... on the lake they will play!

Tristan was SO happy to go to the lake.  SO happy.  Plus, he got one-on-one time with Lane.

He apparently told his Bebah that he was goign to do a flip on the knee board... guess the boat was dragging him a bit because he refused to let go!!!

He just wants to be a big boy like Lane!!

I'm told they rode and rode and rode....

Sweet face.... I just adore you Tristan!

Great... he'll be trying to do this next.  Monkey see, monkey do!

Ride it T, RIDE IT!!  So proud!!

Here's mini Holt... and soon to be T I'm sure.

2nd time knee boarding and he's got the rope... here we go!

I just have to remind myself... this kidis 100% boy.  I pray him up before he heads out and then cheer him on as loud as I can!
