My sweet boy giving me Mother's Day flowers
and Simmy - being sweet
I asked Tristan if he would plop down so I could take his pic... he did. Well trained T, you are well trained.
The old man... As
This is how they were Saturday morning when they woke up. It was hysterical...
so I gave them fruit roll-ups (hence Davis' mouth looking funny)
pure greatness.
This is Murphy... he's waiting for breakfast
and Gracie telling Daddy to GET UP!! Someone stay up a little too late last night JJ?
Stuff to do! Like a little bit of this!
Murph... again... probably wondering what all those shots are for
Simmy Simm.... not even a little gun shy!
T and Davis collecting their flowers - looking all COUNTRY!
Daddy delivering my sweet little guy AND my flowers!!
T got after it
and I was NOT going to let this kite win
ugh - FAIL!!!!!
Holt tried...
*FAIL!!*
I love these wooden fish carvings...
Then, Holt found a turtle and we played with it!!
then it was time for "her" to go home...
so the boys carried on... just by being boys
T, Davis and I headed off for fire wood. T trekked a ton back.
our beautiful view as we walked....
Davis was over it... Uncle Holtie had to go give him a ride. :)
Then, Uncle Sue fired up a game of camping baseball
Tristan Barber of the New York Yankees swung and missed!
then... he hit one out of the ball park!!!
Davis Jones of the Texas Rangers was up next.
and he knocked it out as well!
and it went on and on and on....
until the NY Yankees and the Texas Rangers took down Sue Jones' evil empire known as the Boston Red Sox!!
Oh the fun to be had at camping! Fishing time!!
James pulled this little guy in... and then.. literally... threw it at me. Sheesh! The nerve!
SCORE!
Again... and again...
and again!!
and again....
and I'm not kidding... again!
Then I hooked one...
IN THE EYE!!!!
Poor little thing. Quickly took that out and threw him back!!
the other side where we found the wood...
Captain Barber was busy baiting and filming!!
The old man rested under many trees
and the younger old man climbed a few.
and then the little cubs soon followed
I found a deserted turtle shell..
she loved it and took it home.
T was just hangin' around at the pond with the bigger fish
and then I gave it a shot but sadly didn't catch a thing. :(
T got bored... I mean when you aren't catching 350 fish in 5 minutes... it's not fun. He said "I like the OTHER fishing Mommy" ... I explained this is REAL fishing.... so - Mr. Patience was D-O-N-E!
Our limos all weekend
and the crazy passengers
beauty all around.. made the heart happy
then on Saturday night I captured these cool pics of Holt fishing.
bet you didn't know I had my very own fly fisherman!?
Loved these so much I couldn't delete any more of them!
changed my aperture and got this...
I like this setting better :)
me admiring all of them goofing off
Gracie just loves Simba and Aslan
and she loves taking pictures too!
that only got happier as we busted out rockets!
T on the long walk back to camp... he ran this a few times
"Gotta stay healthy Mommy, I need my esser-size."
Making Mommy proud T... making Mommy proud!!
So thankful that my boss let us head out there again. Great way to celebrate being a Mom!!
